The US government’s Helsinki Commission held a Congressional briefing plotting ways to break up Russia as a country, in the name of supposed “decolonization.”
Putting aside the US conquering land from the indigenous people, there was that whole Civil War, but to argue for context is to use that diabolical Russian whataboutism judo move.
Thank you for your work I really appreciate your considerable efforts.
I want to address your upcoming series with Aaron Good.
There is a book I think is really important for your discussions: "Tomorrow the World" by Stephen Wertheim. A serious history of the planning by the US as it created the empire during WWII. The history from 1940 to 1945. It will be invaluable in informing your discussions.
Additionally, there is "Dark Quadrant" by Jonathan Marshall. This book deals with the rise of organized crime into the political structures of the empire.
What the fuck is wrong with these people.

Great reporting. You really can't make this shit up!
Intersectional imperialism is a brilliant shorthand, thank you for that.
