Other sources, such as Geopolitical Economy, report on the food security issues, vz. Russia / Ukraine, and how these factor into the consideration of Niger’s new leaders in breaking from neocolonial ties. The complexity, fluidity, and volatility of the situation daunt analytical comprehension but this piece helps give historical perspective.
