Neither Britain or France should be on the SC as they are puppet states. The UN has to be restructured democratized and moved out of New York. It must also be financially independent of the US.

As BRICS has been formed as an alternative, the UN should have a break alternative excluding the US as necessary.

The US goes beyond being a rogue superpower, is a pariah state impeding world progress and must be treated as such. The world cannot afford to be hostage to one despot.

As always Ben thanks for your great concise reporting.

The same old U.S. imperialist trick. Create disastrous conditions for a country it doesn't like and hope that its citizens will blame their own government instead of the United States. This is getting old, already. If there are only two votes against lifting the embargo of Cuba, the majority should rule, not the minority. The UN has become ridiculous.

The ability of any one of five countries to veto any Security Council resolution--in perpetuity--made the UN a joke from the start (except to those five countries), as was the location of the UN in the US.

Impressive how the US keeps preaching to the world all about 'human rights' and 'democracy', yet is the country that least practices what it preaches.

Two beacons of human decency and compassion: The US and Israel vote to sanction dangerous Cuba. What more is there to say? It's a clown show, folks.
