The Ukraine "war is about money", argued US Senator Lindsey Graham. He said Ukraine has trillions in minerals, insisting, "Trump is going to do a deal... to enrich ourselves with rare earth minerals".
Wow. Graham is an idiot. This is what passes for a politician in the US. Same goes for the dolts who sit there and listen to his fantastic lies and say not a word.
Nice work, Ben. Graham is a colonial dinosaur, little brains and a big appetite for robbing other countries resources. Thank god, his ilk are headed for extinction.
What rare earth minerals? More delusional Trumpisms.
Rare Earths:
Greenland: 2 million tonnes
China: 44 million tonnes
Brazil: 21 million tonnes
Vietnam: 22 million tonnes
Russia: 10 miilion tonnes
OTHERS: 17 million tonnes

And 50% of the grain out of Ukraine DOESN'T go to Africa! The bulk goes to Europe. Yes, it'a all about money, US money, US capitalism and Trump's US Inc. If I may quote Michael Roberts piece:
"Trump sees the United States as just a big capitalist corporation of which he is chief executive. Just as he did when he was the boss in the TV show, the Apprentice, he thinks he is running a business and so can employ and fire people at his whim. He has a board of directors who advise and/or do his bidding (the American oligarchs and former TV presenters). But the institutions of the state are a hindrance. So Congress, courts, state governments etc are to be ignored and/or told to carry out the instructions of the CEO." - https://thenextrecession.wordpress.com/2025/03/02/trumps-maga-and-deregulation/
So the Ukraine is just a loss maker as far as Trump is concerned, so it's time to wind up the operation.
What more does Ukraine get from a quick Trump peace deal and signing away its mineral rights to the US that it couldn’t get from simply surrendering, holding elections (as Putin won’t talk to Z) and keeping its mineral rights?
Apart from the decades of meddling and provoking, what does any of it have do with the US?
Pretending it is/was about money makes it easier to swallow because Americans are used to everything being supposedly being about money.
It's ugly but it is what they know, what makes "sense".
Openly admitting that it is about total domination of the planet would sound too insane and evil, too obviously supervillain like even for the average american citizen.
"The Ukraine "war is about money", argued US Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of Donald Trump."
Again, that's true, but not the whole truth. The war on Russia in Ukraine was initially about geostrategic positioning and "extending" Russia, as everyone knows. That failed, as everyone knows. And now, Graham, who celebrated Russian civilians being murdered by terrorism just a few months ago (it's pressuring Putin and setting up regime change they all howled), has accepted Trump's saner position. Trump thinks correctly the war is too dangerous and counterproductive relative to his designs on China. So, he wants to end it while making it look like a win. How? By publicly getting some economic benefit.

"War is about money". They should send his children to war and then he will really see what war is about.

So now the elite are simply saying it aloud; COLONIALISM.
Thing is, it's not ultimately about money.
It's about power.
Control.
World domination.
Money is just a means, power is the end.
I don't buy that that has changed.

[Raw] earth meets raw, naked corruption. There is no limit to this human depravity.
Ukraine isn't a gold mine, but a raw earth mine.
Graham is Shit from Head to Toe. A genocidal, teasonous bastard that should be jailed for the rest of his disgusting life.
