China & Russia pledge 'changes not seen in 100 years': Xi & Putin take aim at US dollar hegemony
geopoliticaleconomy.substack.com
China’s Xi Jinping traveled to Russia to meet Vladimir Putin, pledging “changes not seen for 100 years”, challenging the hegemony of the US dollar by promoting trade in yuan and national currencies.
Xi and Putin demonstrate how effective and progressive multilateralism can be while the Collective West throws their populations under the bus fighting futile wars they will never win. The West's enemies are not across oceans on foreign shores we are our own worst enemy. America has made too many strategic blunders.
One of which was pointed out by John Mearsheimer- instead of alienating Russia they should have treated Russia as an ally and partnered with it. Instead their incessant belligerence toward both countries has driven them into a pact that will exist for a long time to come.
As America tries to weaken and fight this pact it fails to acknowledge it also weakens itself; especially when it is facing an economic crisis at home. It is suffering imperial overreach on steroids.
Excellent commentary!
