Media's Israel bias exposed by US soldier who set himself on fire to protest Gaza genocide
The Western media showed its bias by whitewashing the fatal protest of US airman Aaron Bushnell, who set himself on fire outside Israel's embassy in DC in order to condemn its genocide in Gaza.
The Western media showed its extreme bias by whitewashing the fatal protest of US airman Aaron Bushnell, who set himself on fire outside Israel's embassy in Washington, DC while shouting "Free Palestine!" and "I will no longer be complicit in genocide!".
Scientific studies have found that roughly 60% of people in the United States do not read past the headlines of news reports.
In their headlines, most major US media outlets, including the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN, failed to mention why Bushnell self-immolated outside of Israel’s embassy.
But when a Russian journalist, Irina Slavina, set herself on fire back in 2020, the Times was careful to point out that it was an act of protest against the government of Vladimir Putin.
British state media BBC did the same: de-politicizing Bushnell’s fatal protest against US-sponsored genocide in Gaza, while heroizing Slavina’s suicide in Russia as a “final protest” against Putin.
I discussed the media’s flagrant hypocrisy in the analysis below:
The NYT like a lot of other major dailies is good for one thing-- lining the bottom of your bird cage, but then even birds might be offended by the smell.
UN CHARTER CHAPTER 2: MEMBERSHIP PROTOCOLS
UN CHARTER Chapter 2 Articles 5 and 6 MUST BE IMMEDIATELY ENACTED AGAINST Member Nations that FUND ARM and/ or AID GENOCIDE, to Suspend those Nations’ Right to Voting Privileges.
Invoking UN Charter Chapter 2 Membership Articles 5 and 6 MUST be Immediate Mandatory UN Practice against ANY nation, where Judges of UN Courts Find there is Credible Evidence before the court in Petitions for Charges of Crimes against other Members. The gravity of this Immediate Mandatory need is all the more crucial in cases of Crimes of War, of Crimes Against Humanity and especially in cases of Active Commission of Genocide.
NO Justice, at all, is possible for Victims of Crime when the Accused Criminals are permitted to be in control of Judgement of their Own Crimes.
